Dancers should arrive fully ready to go in their recital costume and tights & hair & make-up (optional) at your show's arrival time. Bring your dance shoes, a non-spill water bottle and non-sticky snack in a dance bag.
One Parent per dancer will find the "Dancer Check-in" sign when you enter Door #2 - follow down that hallway to the green rooms. There will be class signs with a picture of their costume to find your green room.
Check-in your dancer with the Parent Volunteer and help your dancer get settled. Put on their dance shoes, make sure hairpieces are secured, last minute lipstick touch-up, etc. (If your dancer is in a combo class, they will wear their tap shoes first). You will be receiving a wristband that you will wear and must present at pick-up.
If you purchased a Recital Package, you will pick this up in the dressing room hallway at our Dancer Concierge Desk.
If you purchased recital souvenirs or program online that will also be available for pickup at the dancer concierge table
You will head back to the lobby to enter the auditorium and find your seat.
Your dancer will remain backstage with Platinum staff and Parent Volunteers for the entire show!
Become a Parent Volunteer to receive an account credit! See Sign-up below.
Dancers will all participate in the end Finale bow, and after this bow, should be picked-up in their same green room. The parent that did the check-in who is wearing the wrist band must also do the pick-up.
Please sign-out your dancer in the green room before leaving.
**Please note: During the finale at each recital, we will be using a confetti canon to signal the end of our show. All dancers will participate in the finale and we practice this in class! We inform dancers of the loud noise / confetti, but we understand it can be alarming for some dancers. Please reach out ([email protected]) if your dancer will require sound cancelling headphones or to sit with a teacher at the recital.
Be sure to find your Dance Recital Ticketing receipt or have your tickets ready on your phone the day of so you know where your assigned seats are!
There will be snacks & souvenirs available for purchase in the lobby and plenty of picture opportunities.
